INTER-SYNDICATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT – 2026

The Inter-Syndicate Basketball Tournament of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) Course Number 20 was successfully conducted on 20 February 2026 at the College Basketball Court amidst a spirited and competitive atmosphere. The event formed part of the College’s continuing efforts to promote physical fitness, teamwork and inter-syndicate camaraderie among the Course Participants.

The tournament witnessed the participation of sixteen teams, comprising fourteen Joint Syndicates of Course Number 20, together with teams representing the Directing Staff and the Permanent Staff. The matches were played with remarkable enthusiasm, discipline and sportsmanship, reflecting the high standards of professionalism upheld by the Course Participants of the College.

Following a series of closely contested matches, the tournament culminated in an exciting final encounter, demonstrating skill, coordination, and collective determination. The concluding ceremony was conducted in a dignified manner, marking the successful completion of the competition. Joint Syndicate 1 emerged as the champions of the tournament, while the team represented by the Permanent Staff secured the position of runners-up.

The Inter-Syndicate Basketball Tournament – 2026 concluded on a high note, further strengthening bonds of fellowship, esprit de corps and mutual respect within the DSCSC community, while reinforcing the importance of physical endurance and teamwork in military leadership.
