Major Genaral P M S Karunaratne psc assumed office as the 19th Deputy Commandant of the DSCSC on 23 Jun 2026, amidst religious rites and rituals. Major Genaral Karunaratne placed his signature for an official document, signifying the acceptance of his office.
He served as the Centre Commandant of Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment prior to being appointed as the Deputy Commandant of DSCSC.
Setting out his scope of work and duties, he made a brief discussion with Officers in the College and outlined the importance of working collectively as a team, whilst enhancing the professionalism of all ranks in the College.
