Defence Services Command and Staff College celebrated the Independence Day of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh together with three Bangladeshi Student Officers of DSCSC Course No 15 (Wg Cdr M Nazmul Haque, Maj Fahim Sarwar, L Cdr M Mukit Reza).
People’s Republic of Bangladesh declared its independence on 26th March 1971, and started nine months long liberation war, thus celebrated their 50th anniversary of independence day in this year.
Three officers representing People’s Republic of Bangladesh had proudly presented legacy of their country and significance of the diplomatic ties between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to the audience and extended their heartfelt gratitude for organizing a special event by the college to mark this remarkable day. The event was graced by the Brig UD Wijesekara RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the Deputy Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College, Chief Instructors, members of the faculty, members of the permanent staff and local and foreign Student Officers of the DSCSC Course No 15.
