The Defence Services Command & Staff College hosted a Dinner Night for the student officers of course no15 upon the completion of the first term of the course curriculum on 09 April 2021 at the Officers’ Mess respecting the COVID 19 medical protocol.
The dining-in served an ideal forum enhancing the esprit de corps and relieved the load of much demanding course curriculum praxis that enabled officers of Tri Services irrespective of their ranks to create bonds of friendship and better working relations through an atmosphere of good fellowship.
The seven-course menu that was served reflected a parsimonious adherence to long preserved customs and traditions in the military and the loyal toast was followed with the musical accompaniment in attendance.
The ceremony was attended by the Commandant, Maj Gen Nishantha Herath, the Deputy Commandant, Brigadier Coordinating, Chief Instructors of Army, Navy and Air Wings, members of the faculty and the Permanent Staff and the student officers of the ongoing staff course that comprised 129 local and 18 foreign student officers from friendly countries.
