Commodore Md. Shafiul Bari, (ND), psc, BN, the Defence Adviser, High Commission of People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Sri Lanka called on the Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College Major General IHMNN Herath RSP USP psc on 29 June 2021.

During the cordial meeting that ensued, both Commodore Md Shafiul Bari and Major General IHMNN Herath deliberated on potential avenues of sharing their expertise to augment the curriculum of both staff colleges.  Bangladesh Student Officers who are currently following the Staff Course No 15, were also given the opportunity to interact with the Defence Adviser and the day’s visitor was afterwards invited to pose for a few group photographs with the host and the Student Officers of Bangladesh at the Defence Services Command and Staff College in order to immortalize the memory of his visit to the College.

The Commandant expressed his deep appreciation for the landmark visit to the Defence Services Command and Staff College and added a symbolic value by presenting a special memento to the visiting Defence Adviser.
