Defence Services Command and Staff College celebrated the Independence Day of Pakistan, India and Indonesia on 16th August 21, with Major Abu Bakar Buttar, Wing Commander Syed Zubair Hussain, Commander Iftikar Ahmad, Wing Commander Apeksha Mishra and Major Samuel Eduard Rampi Loilewen who are following the Defence Services Command and Staff College Course Number 15.

The Independence Day of Pakistan and India were on 14th and 15th August respectively and the Independence Day of Indonesia falls on 17th August.

Wing Commander Syed Zubair Hussain delivered a speech on behalf of Pakistan Student Officers on the history of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the present status achieved.

Wing Commander Apeksha Mishra delivered on the history of the Republic of India and their path to independence.

Finally, Major Samuel Eduard Rampi Loilewen delivered a speech on history of Indonesia and the road to success.

All speakers extended their gratitude and appreciated the college authorities for arranging a wonderful event to celebrate their independence days amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

The event was graced by the Commandant, Deputy Commandant, Members of the Faculty and a cross section of local and foreign Student Officers from the Defence Services Command and Staff College Course Number 15. The event was held with strict adherence to Covid-19 prevention measures.
