Brigadier R M Jayasinghe (Retd) USP LOM psc the first Chief Instructor of the then Army Command and Staff College (presently Defence Services Command and Staff College), delivered a lecture on the ‘Professionalism and Dignity of the Profession of Arms’ at the DSCSC on 22 February 2024.

The lecture aimed at further improving the professionalism and conduct of day-to-day affairs of student officers. The guest speaker enlightened the student officers on the importance of military professionalism, ethics and ethos, the value and benefits, and on the contribution of spouses towards military professionalism.

A total of 154 student officers, including 25 foreign student officers, accompanied by their spouses, the Commandant, members of the faculty, and the permanent staff also attended the lecture.

Finally, Brigadier R M Jayasinghe (Retd) USP LOM psc was presented with a plaque as a token of appreciation in recognition of his service rendered as a special guest lecturer for course number 18.
